By booking a trip with us, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Our role & limitation of liability
1.1 Intermediary status.
Arabian Wonders acts strictly as a Destination Management Company (DMC) and booking agent. We arrange services between you and third-party suppliers.
1.2 Third-party suppliers.
The company does not own, manage, control, or operate service providers. We are not responsible for any acts, omissions, negligence, or defaults of these suppliers or for injuries, losses, or inconveniences caused by them.
1.3 Adventure & activity risk.
Activities like dune bashing and hiking carry inherent risks. By participating, you acknowledge and accept these risks. The company accepts no liability for resulting accidents or injuries.
1.4 Force majeure.
The company is not liable for failures resulting from natural disasters, war, terrorism, government sanctions, labour disputes, or utility failures.
2. Booking & confirmation
2.1 The contract.
A binding contract exists only when we have received your booking deposit and we have issued a written confirmation (via email, booking platform or invoice).
2.2 Accuracy.
It is your responsibility to check all documents immediately upon receipt. Errors must be reported within 48 hours.
3. Payment terms
Unless otherwise agreed in writing:
- Deposit. A non-refundable deposit of 20% of the total tour cost is required.
- Balance. The remaining 80% is due 45 days prior to the arrival date.
- Late bookings. Bookings made within 60 days of arrival require full payment (100%).
Payments must be via bank transfer with all fees borne by the client.
4. Cancellation by you
Written cancellation notice to booking@awdmc.com determines charges:
- More than 45 days prior: loss of 20% deposit.
- 45 to 30 days prior: 50% of total cost.
- Less than 30 days prior: 100% of total cost.
Special terms may apply for peak seasons or large groups.
5. Changes & cancellation by us
5.1 Itinerary changes.
While we make every effort to execute the tour as planned, we reserve the right to alter itineraries, transport, or accommodation due to unforeseen circumstances. Equivalent or better accommodations will substitute if needed.
5.2 Cancellation.
The company may cancel tours and will refund fully (except for force majeure or non-payment). We are not responsible for any incidental expenses you have incurred.
6. Insurance & documents
6.1 Travel insurance.
It is a mandatory condition of booking that all travellers have valid and comprehensive travel insurance. Coverage must include medical expenses, repatriation, personal injury, luggage protection, and trip cancellation. The company does not provide this insurance.
6.2 Passports & visas.
Travellers must hold valid passports (6+ months validity) and necessary visas. The company bears no responsibility for entry refusals.
7. Client behaviour & cultural guidelines
7.1 Behaviour.
We reserve the right to terminate the tour of any client whose behaviour is disruptive, disrespectful to Omani culture, dangerous, or illegal — with no refund.
7.2 Alcohol & drugs.
Alcohol consumption is restricted in Oman. It is only permitted in licensed hotels and restaurants for non-Muslims aged 21 and over. Public intoxication is illegal. The possession or use of illegal drugs is strictly prohibited and carries severe penalties.
7.3 Cultural respect.
Travellers must respect local customs and dress codes, especially at religious sites.
8. Governing law & jurisdiction
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the Sultanate of Oman. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with this contract shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Muscat, Oman.
