German tour operators have sold Oman for longer than most of Europe, and they know what a Zielgebietsagentur is for: a clear quote, a reliable Reiseleitung, and someone at the airport when the group lands. That is the job.

What a German operator gets from us.

Arabian Wonders is a destination management company in Oman, the incoming agency and ground handler for the programmes you sell. We are Scandinavian-owned and Muscat-based, operating since 2022 under the local company Ramz al Masira International LLC. You remain the Reiseveranstalter toward your customers; we are the local supplier, invoiced net, working under your brand.

  • Itinerary design from your brief: classic round-trips, mountain and desert combinations, Salalah, beach extensions and private 4×4 programmes.
  • Ground operations: hotels and desert camps, 4×4 fleet and coaches, drivers, permits, airport meet and greet.
  • Guides: English-speaking as standard, German-speaking Reiseleitung on request, arranged per group.
  • Groups, FITs and MICE: from two travellers to coach groups of sixty, study trips and incentive programmes.

How we work with German-speaking partners.

Write to us in German. We read it, and we reply in English so that quotes, confirmations, rooming lists and operating documents are unambiguous for both sides. The office is open Sunday to Thursday, Muscat time, two to three hours ahead of Frankfurt, Vienna and Zurich. A brief sent in the morning is normally read the same day.

A first draft comes back within one business day: a day-by-day outline, the hotel category, the vehicle type and an indicative net rate per person. Quotes are itemised position by position, and confirmations follow in writing. We revise until the programme fits your catalogue, your price point and your guests.

On the ground, we work with drivers and guides we have known for years and stay reachable on WhatsApp throughout the trip. German operators tend to ask about two things before anything else: the quality of the Reiseleitung and whether the day runs to the timetable. Both are why our existing partners rebook.

Practical: visa, flights and season.

Visa

German, Austrian and Swiss passport holders enter Oman visa-free for stays of up to 14 days. Longer itineraries use the Royal Oman Police eVisa, applied for online before departure. We confirm the current rule for each booking, since Omani entry rules do change.

Flights

Oman Air flies non-stop from Frankfurt and Munich to Muscat several times a week, in about six and a half hours, and from Zurich up to six times a week in the winter season. Other German and Austrian airports connect with one stop via Doha, Dubai, Abu Dhabi or Istanbul. Seasonal leisure services come and go from one winter to the next, so we design arrival and departure days around the timetable you actually sell.

Season

The main season is October to April. Muscat sits between 25 and 32 °C by day, the Hajar mountains are cooler, and the sea is warm enough for a beach ending. Salalah in the south has its own green season, the khareef, from July to September, which works for summer departures. Bookings for the '26 / '27 winter season are open now.

Common questions from German operators.

Do you work with German, Austrian and Swiss tour operators?
Yes. Germany is the largest European source market for Oman, and German-speaking Reiseveranstalter are our second priority after the Nordic countries. We act as your Incoming-Agentur and Zielgebietsagentur in Oman while you remain the tour operator toward your customers.
Can we correspond in German?
Write to us in German; we read it. Replies and operating documents come in English, so that quotes, confirmations and rooming lists are unambiguous for both sides. German-speaking guides (deutschsprachige Reiseleitung) are arranged for your groups on request.
Are you a DMC, Incoming-Agentur or ground handler?
The same role under three names. We design the itinerary, contract the hotels, guides and vehicles in Oman, and run the programme on the ground. We do not sell to consumers and never contact your customers directly.
Do German passport holders need a visa for Oman?
German, Austrian and Swiss passport holders enter Oman visa-free for stays of up to 14 days. For longer stays, the Royal Oman Police eVisa is applied for online before departure. We confirm the current rule for every booking.
Which flights connect Germany with Muscat?
Oman Air flies non-stop from Frankfurt and Munich to Muscat several times a week, about six and a half hours, and from Zurich up to six times a week in the winter season. Other German and Austrian airports connect with one stop via Doha, Dubai, Abu Dhabi or Istanbul. Seasonal leisure services come and go from one winter to the next, so we plan arrival days around the timetable you actually sell.
When is the season for German groups?
October to April for round-trips, with Muscat between 25 and 32 °C by day and cooler nights in the Hajar mountains. Salalah in the south has a separate green season, the khareef, from July to September, which suits summer departures.
How fast do you quote, and how are prices structured?
A first draft within one business day: day-by-day outline, hotel category, vehicle type and an indicative net rate per person. Quotes are itemised line by line so your product and operations teams can check every position, and confirmations are issued in writing.
Do you handle groups, FITs and MICE?
Yes. From two travellers in a private 4×4 to coach groups of sixty, study trips, and incentive or conference programmes. Vehicles, guides, permits, desert camps and airport meet and greet are all handled by our team in Muscat.
