- What does an Oman DMC do?
- A destination management company (DMC) is the local ground handler that a tour operator contracts to run its trips in one country. Arabian Wonders is the DMC for Oman: we design the itinerary from your brief, contract the hotels, guides, vehicles, camps and activities, and operate the trip on the ground while you own the client relationship. You sell under your brand; we deliver in Oman.
- Who does Arabian Wonders sell to?
- Arabian Wonders works exclusively with travel agencies, tour operators, travel designers and MICE agencies. Our primary market is Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland, then the rest of Europe, then premium agencies in the GCC. We handle FITs, groups, incentives and conferences for the same partners.
- Does Arabian Wonders sell to private travellers?
- No. Arabian Wonders is business-to-business only and does not sell, quote or advertise to private travellers. If a consumer contacts us directly, we refer them to a partner agency in their home market.
- Will you ever contact or sell to our clients directly?
- No. Arabian Wonders operates white-label: your guests see your brand on the documents, your name on the airport sign and your voice in the itinerary text. Client data we receive is used only to operate the booking, and we never market to your guests or accept a direct booking from them afterwards.
- Which DMC in Oman works with Scandinavian tour operators?
- Arabian Wonders is a Scandinavian-owned DMC based in Muscat since 2022, operated by Ramz al Masira International LLC, and built for Nordic and northern European tour operators. The office corresponds in Norwegian, Swedish and Danish as well as English and Arabic, and the operating documents are written the way Nordic operations teams expect them.
- Which parts of Oman do you cover?
- Arabian Wonders operates across the whole Sultanate: Muscat and the coast, the Hajar mountains (Nizwa, Jebel Akhdar, Jebel Shams), the Sharqiya Sands and Wahiba desert, the Sur and Ras al Jinz coast, Musandam in the north, and Salalah and Dhofar in the south. Multi-region routings by 4x4, coach or domestic flight are the norm, not the exception.
Rates, payment and group size.
- How do your rates work: net, currency, VAT and validity?
- Arabian Wonders quotes net rates for you to mark up; we do not pay commission on top of a gross rate. Quotes are issued in US dollars and show Omani VAT at 5% as a separate line. A quote is valid for up to 30 days, and hotel space is subject to availability until the deposit is received. Seasonal supplements for Christmas, New Year and Eid are shown on the quote, never added afterwards.
- What are your payment and cancellation terms?
- Arabian Wonders takes a 20% deposit on confirmation and the balance 45 days before arrival; bookings made within 60 days of arrival are paid in full. Payment is by bank transfer. Cancellation more than 45 days before arrival costs the deposit, 45 to 30 days costs 50%, and under 30 days costs 100%, with special terms for peak dates and large groups. - How fast do you quote?
- Arabian Wonders replies to every brief within one business day, with questions or a first routing. The priced quote follows once hotel and camp availability is confirmed, and changes to an existing quote are usually turned around the same day.
- Is there a minimum group size?
- Arabian Wonders counts ten or more travellers as a group, priced on group rates with a tour leader place where needed. Smaller parties, from a single traveller to a family, are run as FITs with a private guide and driver. There is no minimum for FIT bookings.
On the ground.
- Which languages do you work in?
- The Arabian Wonders office corresponds in English, Norwegian, Swedish, Danish and Arabic. Guiding in Oman is in English by default, and we staff German-, French- and Italian-speaking guides on request. Operating documents, vouchers and confirmations are issued in English.
- Is Arabian Wonders licensed and insured?
- Yes. Arabian Wonders trades as Ramz al Masira International LLC, a company registered and licensed in Oman, and is insured for its ground operations. Licence and insurance documents are provided to partners on request. Travellers must still hold their own comprehensive travel insurance, which is a condition of booking.
- What happens if something goes wrong on the ground?
- Every Arabian Wonders group and FIT has a named contact in our Muscat office who can be reached outside office hours while the trip is running. Escalation goes from the guide to the operations manager to the owner, and your office is informed of any incident the same day. The guides and drivers we use are licensed in Oman.
- How do we start working with Arabian Wonders?
- Send a brief: the type of client, approximate dates, group size, budget per person and anything the trip must include. Arabian Wonders replies within one business day with questions or a first routing, and the first proposal follows with net rates by line. Most partners start with a single FIT or a small group before contracting a series.
